A color lithograph by Axel Jørgensen titled 'Older Woman' The print is numbered 304/315 and signed 'Axel Jørgensen 1954'. The passepartout shows some staining, but the lithograph itself is in good condition.

Karl Aksel Jørgensen (1883–1957) was a very important Danish social realist and post-impressionist painter and graphic artist. He was a professor at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts for many years (1920–1953) and also served as its director. He is particularly known for his depictions of society's outcasts in Copenhagen and for having taught great names such as Asger Jorn and Ib Spang Olsen. This work depicts an elderly woman with a doll in her lap. Original prints of this work can be found, among other things, in the collection of the Workers' Museum.
